Abstract

Method of drying surfaces, at which one blows a warm, pressurized, gas-like drying medium toward the surface, preferably compressed air, whose relative moisture is considerably less than the natural moisture in the air layer immediately close to the surface. The drying medium or parts of this are instilled with a higher temperature, so that the surface is allowed to quickly adopt a temperature exceeding the dew point but lower than the temperature with which the surface in question is detrimentally affected. A drying device for the drying of surfaces is comprised of one or more nozzles (2) for blowing a drying medium under pressure in a cone or curtain-shaped jet toward the surface, which shall be dried, and e.g. a gas burner (3) in order to convey an increased temperature to the drying mediums jet or parts of this.<IMAGE>
