Abstract

A valve designed to be connected to a line of pipe and to prevent the creation of a negative pressure in a length of pipe connected to a valve body with a valve chamber. The valve chamber contains a valve plate (18) of elastic material that can be moved towards and away from a valve seating consisting of two ring-shaped valve seats (6, 7) that are almost concentric with each other. Between the valve seats there is an opening (8) that communicates with the outer air.
