Abstract

A valve for providing communication between at least one load connection and a source of pressure medium or a sink for said medium comprises a housing having a first face including axially arranged ports 20, 22, 56 communicating with said source, sink and load connection(s), and a valve slide member 26 rotatably arranged in the housing and having two circumferentially extending control grooves 52, 54 arranged in a face thereof adjacent said face of the housing, each control groove communicating with an internal space 64 of the housing which is defined by a second face of the slide member and a second face of the housing remote from its first face by means of a non-return valve 60, 62. <IMAGE>
