Abstract

In a fluidisable bed combustion chamber 1 having cooling tubes 6, the tubes are stayed by means of cooled stay tubes 7 which are fitted in between the cooling tubes so that cooling tubes 6 and stay tubes 7 are squeezed against each other and thus support each other. The stay tubes may be connected to the same coolant circuits (not shown) as the cooling tubes, or to separate circuits. <IMAGE>
