Abstract

The object of the device according to the present invention is, by means of fastening or clamping devices, to prevent the fastening or restraining device proper from being loosened or removed from the element which the device is fastened to or restrains, and thereby preventing the device from being removed or dismantled. The device comprises at least one clamping means, a bushing-shaped body and a locking sleeve with a locking means, whereby the clamping means besides a clamping means can constitute a pin or a screw, and the bushing- shaped body may besides forming part of the device constitute a more regular means, such as restraining the clamping means or constitute a fastening means or a current nut. The bushing-shaped body has an internal thread for engagement with the clamping means, whereby the clamping means and the bushing-shaped body are arranged in the intended mounting, following which the locking sleeve with the locking means is arranged over the bushing-shaped body such that this will not be accessible for undue manipulation. In utilising the device for e.g. outboard motors, the clamping means substitute a current clamping screw in the shackle for the outboard motor, and it may consist of at least two separate parts, that is, a first part for actuating by means of a tool and being in engagement with the shackle, and a second part constituting an extension part for said first part and possibly being rotatable relative to same. The bushing-shaped body is arranged the usual way in engagement with the clamping means and a locking sleeve being arranged over and covering the bushing-shaped body, whereby the locking means is brought into engagement with the bushing-shaped body by means of a locking bar, such that the locking sleeve cannot be removed from the bushing-shaped body. The locking sleeve with the locking means is preferably arranged rotatably relative to the bushing-shaped body, whereby the locking bar of the locking means is situated in a circular groove in its actuated state. <IMAGE>
