1444590 Corona discharge apparatus PURIFICATION SCIENCES Inc 19 July 1973 [17 Aug 1972] 50460/75 Divided out of 1444588 Heading H5H The subject-matter of this Specification is substantially identical to that of Specifications 1,444,588 and 1,444,589 except that the main claim relates to a corona discharge apparatus in which electrodes defining discharge cell walls are maintained parallel by a means 278 resisting excess inside pressures and a means 450 within the cell resisting excess outside pressures. The description additionally states that the outside supporting means 278 maintains the cells spaced apart and distributes uniformly the pressures in excess of ambient arising from the fluid in the cell.
