Abstract

1427506 Endless chain conveyers SKF INDUSTRIAL TRADING & DEVELOPMENT CO BV 20 Sept 1974 [21 Sept 1973] 41115/74 Heading B8A Carriers 4, 5 on each of parallel endless conveyer chains 15, 15 (only one chain visible in Fig. 1), are T-shaped so as to receive respective successive bars 13 from an inlet sheet 14. A sloping surface prior to the change from the horizontal to the vertical run, causes each bar to be lifted over its carrier, so that it falls downwardly on to the upper surface of the adjacent carrier in the downstream direction. The bars are discharged to a shoot 19.
