An air cleaner (100) comprising an air cleaner body (101) with a main air intake aperture 102) that extends in an aperture plane (P),where the air cleaner body (101) is arranged to hold an essential filter (110) that extends in a filter plane (F) parallel to the aperture plane (P) and covers the main air intake aperture 102),the air cleaner (100) comprising a fan (160) arranged to generate a flow of air through the essential filter (110), when the essential filter (110) is held in the air cleaner body (101),the air cleaner body (101) comprising a contact surface (180) arranged to sealingly contact a periphery of the essential filter (110) when held in the air cleaner body (101), where at least a first part (210) of the contact surface (180) extends along an oscillating path, where the oscillating path is a waveform-shaped path (720) extending in the aperture plane (P).
