Abstract
A battery arrangement (2) for a vehicle (3) is disclosed. The battery arrangement (2) comprises a battery (4), a housing (5) comprising a chamber part (6) arranged to accommodate the battery (4) and a lid part (7) arranged to be connected to the chamber part (6) to enclose the battery (4) within the housing (5) and a suspension attachment (11) arranged to attach the housing (5) to a frame (10) of the vehicle (3). The present disclosure further relates to a battery arrangement set (1) and to a vehicle (3).

- Claims
- A battery arrangement (2) for a vehicle (3), comprising: - a battery (4), - a housing (5) comprising a chamber part (6) arranged to accommodate the battery (4) and a lid part (7) arranged to be connected to the chamber part (6) to enclose the battery (4) within the housing (5) and - a suspension attachment (11) arranged to attach the housing (5) to a frame (10) of the vehicle (3), characterized in that the chamber part (6) comprises a chamber flange portion (14) arranged to be connected to a lid flange portion (15) of the lid part (7) to achieve a tight connection between the chamber part (6) and the lid part (7).
- The battery arrangement (2) according to claim 1, wherein the chamber part (6) comprises a base portion (8) extending along a base plane (8.1) and an edge portion (9) extending from the base portion (8), wherein the frame (10) comprises at least one longitudinal beam (10.1), wherein the suspension attachment (11) is arranged at the edge portion (9) of the chamber part (6) to attach the chamber part (6) to the frame (10) such that a normal of the base plane (8) is parallel with the at least one longitudinal beam (10.1).
- The battery arrangement (2) according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the chamber part (6) is a one piece chamber part made of a metal sheet by a pressing process such as stamping.
- The battery arrangement (2) according to any one of claims 1 to 3, wherein the lid part (7) is a one piece lid part made of a metal sheet by a pressing process such as stamping.
- The battery arrangement (2) according to any one of claims 1 to 4, wherein a surface (12) of the chamber part (6) and/or a surface (13) of the lid part (7) is corrugated.
- The battery arrangement (2) according to any one of claims 1 to 5, wherein the chamber flange portion (14) comprises a first groove (16) andfisfsfi the lid flange portion (15) comprises a corresponding second groove, wherein a cross section of the second grove corresponds to a cross section of the first groove (16) or is a mirror image of the cross section of the first groove (16).The battery arrangement (2) according to any one of claims 1 to 6, comprising an outer recess (17) arranged to accommodate a portion of the frame (10) of the vehicle (s).
- The battery arrangement (2) according to any one of claims 1 to 7, wherein the lid part (7) of the housing (5) is configured to receive a portion of a neighbouring chamber part (6) of a neighbouring housing (5) to enable building of a battery arrangement set (1) comprising a plurality of inter-connectable battery arrangements (2) positioned adjacent to each other.
- A battery arrangement set (1) comprising a plurality of inter-connectable battery arrangements (2) according to any one of claims 1 to
- 10. A vehicle (3) comprising a frame (10) and at least one battery arrangement (2) according to any one of claims 1 to 8, wherein each of the at least one battery arrangement (2) is individually suspension attached to the frame (10).
- 11. The vehicle (3) according to claim 10, comprising a plurality of inter-connectable battery arrangements (2) according to any one of claims 1 to 8.
