Abstract

The present invention relates to an animal feed additive composition for use of controlling undesired microbial growth, the composition comprising, glycerol ester selected from the group consisting of: mono-, di- and tripropionin, -butyrin, -valerin and mixtures thereof, vegetable oil, tannin, and/or saponins, and caseinate.The present invention also relates to the animal feed additive for use in promoting intestine growth, alleviating or mitigating effects from necrotic enteritis, modulating gut flora and/or as an additive to drinking water.
