Claims (6)
1. Förfarande för tillverkning av ammoniak med hjälp av en elektrolytisk cell (1) innefattande en första (2) och en andra (3) avdelning, varvid den första och andra avdelningen är åtskilda av ett membran (4) som är perrneabelt för joner, varvid första avdelningen (2) innefattar en första elektrod (5) och varvid den andra avdelningen (3) innefattar en andra elektrod (6), varvid den första (2) och den andra (3) avdelningen innefattar en elektrolyt innefattande minst ett litiumsalt (7), varvid förfarandet innefattar stegen att: a. ansluta den första elektroden (5) som en katod (C) och den andra elektroden (6) som en anod (A), b. ett första steg av att tillföra litiumhydroxid till anoden, c. värma elektrolyten som innefattar minst ett litiumsalt (7) över dess smältpunkt, d. applicera en spänning (V) över den första (5) och andra (6) elektroden och tillföra kvävgas till katoden (C) så att litium bildas vid katoden (C) och vilket litium reagerar med den tillförda kvävgasen för att bilda litiumnitrid vid katoden och så att litiumhydroxiden vid anoden reagerar för att bilda vatten och syre, e. kyla elektrolyten som innefattar minst ett litiumsalt (7) under dess smältpunkt, f tillföra vatten eller ånga till katoden (C) så att den reagerar med litiumnitriden som bildats i steg d) och bildar ammoniak och litiumhydroxid, g. ändra polaritet så att den första elektroden (5) ändras mellan att vara katoden (C) och anoden (A), medan den andra elektroden (6) ändras mellan att vara anoden (A) och katoden (C), och upprepa processen från steg c).
2. Förfarande enligt krav 1, varvid steg d) genomförs tills den i steg b) tillförda litiumhydroxiden är förbrukad. 2350105-
3. Förfarande enligt något av krav 1-2, varvid elektrolyten innefattande minst ett litiumsalt (7) är en eutektisk blandning innefattande minst ett litiumsalt. 5
4. Förfarande enligt något av krav 1-3, varvid elektrolyten innefattande minst ett litiumsalt (7) är en eutektisk blandning av litiumklorid och kaliumklorid och varvid elektrolyten innefattande minst ett litiumsalt (7) värms över 354 °C i steg c).
5. Förfarande enligt något av krav 1-4, varvid elektrolyten innefattande minst 10 ett litiumsalt (7) kyls under 80°C i steg e).
6. Förfarande enligt något av krav 1-5, varvid spänningen (V) justeras så att väsentligen ingen klorgas bildas vid anoden (A).
