Abstract

The invention relates to an arrangement for hanging a rectangular poster (4) and comprises a framework having two fixing elements (3a, 3b) for two opposite sides (4a, 4b) of the poster (4). Each fixing element (3a, 3b) comprises a rotatably supported reeling cylinder (3a, 3b) with an axial slot (3a1, 3b1) made therein. Each side (4a, 4b) of the poster (4) can be inserted and fixed in these slots. At least one of the reeling cylinders (3a, 3b) is operatively connected to a resiliently flexible catch member (3a3, 3a4, 3a5). This is designed to be tensioned with and to maintain a certain tension of the poster (4) in order thereby to permit longitudinal variations in the poster (4) caused by variations in temperature/atmospheric humidity. The cylinders (3a, 3b) are rotatably supported in the framework (2) comprising two frame parts (2a, 2b) pivotally connected to one another. One of these, the frame part (2a) is intended to be fixed to a background surface, and the reeling cylinders (3a, 3b) are fixed to the other frame part (2b) that can be folded out from the background surface.
