Description
Fjärrstyrda vibratorplattor är ofta manövrerade medelst styrsignaler från ett handhållet manöverorgan där styrsignalerna till plattan överförs med hjälp av infrarött ljus. Mottagarögat på plattan måste vara beläget på plattans högsta punkt för att signalerna ej ska skymmas under körning. Särskilt vid körning av plattan i rörgravar är det viktigt att plattans totala höjd är så liten som möjligt för att plattan ska kunna manövreras under t ex befintliga stämp mellan rörgravens sidor. Remotely controlled vibrator plates are often operated by means of control signals from a hand-held actuator where the control signals to the plate are transmitted by means of infrared light. The receiver eye on the plate must be located at the highest point of the plate so that the signals are not obscured while driving. Especially when driving the plate in pipe trenches, it is important that the total height of the plate is as small as possible so that the plate can be maneuvered under, for example, existing pistons between the sides of the pipe trench.

Detta åstadkommes enligt patentkraven genom att mottagarögat är fastsatt på en avfjädrad fastplatta som är försedd med ett hjulekerformat skyddsgaller omslutande mottagarögat på så sätt att vid mekanisk belastning av skyddsgallret detta trycks ned under vibratorplattans kåpa. Furthermore, the spokes of the protective grille have been given such an inclination towards the horizontal plane that the grille is depressed both at a vertical or at a horizontally acting external force.

Figur 3 visar IR-ögat sett uppifrån där själva IR-ögat är fixerat till fästplattan 6 medelst en cirkulär plåt 11 bultad till fästplattan med bultförbanden 12. På den cirkulära plåten 11 är ett IR-ögat omslutande ekerformat stålkors 13 fastsatt avsett att skydda IR-ögat vid påkörning av eventuellt hinder. Fästplattan 6 övre läge är bestämt av de försänkta skruvarna 14 som är gängade i respektive styrtapp 8 i figur 4. Den cylindriska delen av fästplattans skruvhål för skruvarna 14 uppvisar en diameter något överskridande styrtapparnas 8 diameter. Fästplattan 6 hålls i sitt övre läge medelst skruvfjädrarna 7 och som tillåter att fästplattan med IR-ögat vid yttre påverkan fjädrar ned till ett skyddat läge under vibratorplattans övre täckplåt 4. Figure 2 shows the mounting plate 6 of the IR eye 5 which is held in its upper position by means of the coil springs 7 freely running around the guide pins 8 which are fixed to the plate 9 which in turn is attached to the hydraulic tank 10 of the vibrator plate. The IR eye is fixed to the mounting plate 6 by means of a circular plate 11 bolted to the mounting plate with the bolted connections 12. On the circular plate 11, an IR-eye enclosing spoke-shaped steel cross 13 is attached intended to protect the IR eye in the event of an obstacle. The upper position of the mounting plate 6 is determined by the countersunk screws 14 which are threaded in the respective guide pin 8 in Figure 4. The cylindrical part of the screw hole of the mounting plate for the screws 14 has a diameter slightly exceeding the diameter of the guide pins 8. The mounting plate 6 is held in its upper position by means of the helical springs 7 and which allows the mounting plate with the IR eye in the event of external influence to spring down to a protected position under the upper cover plate 4 of the vibrator plate.
