Abstract

This invention concerns a method and a device for the application of a foil or a component on an injection-moulded or vacuum-formed product (7). The foil (1) is attached to at least one of the walls (4) of the moulding tool (3) concerned before the actual moulding of the product (7) using a double-sided adhesive tape (2), where after thermal-moulding only the backing (9) of the adhesive layers (5, 6) of the tape (2) covers the foil (1) applied to the finished product (7) and which backing (9) is easily removable while at the same time the foil (1) in question is securely attached to the product (7).
