Abstract

An intake system for internal combustion engines incorporating a filter housing (10) with an air intake opening (11), a filter element (12) and at least one air outlet tube (13), which communicates with the engine inlet manifolds (16), which form an integral unit with the bottom part of the filter housing (10). The top part (19) of the inlet manifolds (16) are designed to form the lowermost border of the filter housing (10), and to provide a support for the filter element (12).
