Abstract
The measurement appts. comprises a transparent, graduated tube (A), a volume (G) with a tightly closing cover (E), a further transparent tube (B) with a running ring (L), an elastic hose with constant cross-section (S) which connects the volume (C) with the second transparent tube (B), and a fluid which does not dissolve the sample (D), whose volume is to be determined. A vertical movement of the transparent tubes (A,B) in relation to one another lowers the fluid level under the cover (E) and permits addition of the sample (D). The original level in the tube (B) is restored to permit reading of the fluid level alteration (Y). This alteration is indicate of the same volume.
