Abstract

The cooker has an upper part comprising a cover plane which is heated by a hearth and smoke gas circulating beneath it. The cover has one or more heating positions for cooking vessels and comprises an upper and a lower level, between which is a space through which a medium e.g. water is conducted for utilisation and transmission of heat. On the underside of the lower plate is fitted a downwardly directed glow plate arranged on one or more sides of the hearth, and whose height is the same as that of the hearth. The hearth grid is attached to the glow plate and this plate and/or the grid irons are hollow, with the heat transmission medium also passing through them.
