Abstract

The invention relates to a reflectng screen for road sign posts and the like, especially for posts 2 which have a road sign 1 at their upper end. This solves the problem of providing a road sign which, on the one hand, does not need its own illumination and which, on the other hand, can be folded up into a configuration which takes up little space and can be transported to the site where it is to be set up. According to the invention, these conditions are satisfied by the fact that the sign is designed as a plate 4 which, in the unmounted state, can be stored and transported in flat form, is foldable along vertical fold lines 3 to form a hollow screen which is closed in the horizontal direction and whose outside reflects light, and comprises, on the one hand, members 5 for mounting the screen on a post 2 and, on the other hand, members 7, 8 for holding together the vertical edges of the screen which are situated adjacent to one another when it is in its folded state. <IMAGE>

1. l. Reflective screen for road sign posts and the like consisting of a foldable disc characterized in that the disc 4 in the unassembled condition is completely flat and made of polycarbonate or equivalent material and on one side provided with reflective material adapted to the user's needs.
