Abstract
1,115,855. Telegraphy. ALBISWERK ZURICH A.G. 21 July, 1966 [22 July, 1965], No. 32801/66. Heading H4P. In a time-division, multiplexing arrangement telegraph signals are sampled at about the midbit points by a clock signal synchronous with the multiplexing clock. As described Start-Stop double current signals from contacts 12 operate bi-stable 11 which feeds AND gates 5, 6. On detection of the Start bit dividers 3, 4 are enabled and provide bit rate centre-sampling pulses to gates 5, 6 from clock source 1. A monostable unit 13 maintains the enabling signal for the duration of one character. The samples feed bi-stable unit 7 whose output is sampled at 8 twice per bit by one output of a multiplex distributer 10 fed by clock source 1. The other outputs sample circuits similar to that shown within the broken line.
