Claims (23)

1. En kontinuerlig eller semi-kontinuerlig process för tillverkning av syrahydrolyserad cellulosa, innefattande följande steg: a) tillhandahållande av ark eller en bana av cellulosafibrer; b) applicering av oxalsyra eller citronsyra eller maleinsyra på arken eller banan; c) reaktion av oxalsyra eller citronsyra eller maleinsyra som applicerats i steg b) vid en temperatur inom intervallet 70-135 °C med cellulosa från arken eller banan för att bilda syrahydrolyserad cellulosa; och d) kylning av den syrahydrolyserade cellulosan.
2. Processen enligt krav 1, som vidare innefattar steget: e) upparbetning av den syrahydrolyserade cellulosan.
3. Processen enligt krav 1 eller 2, där cellulosafibrerna som tillhandahålls i steg a) innehåller mindre än 30 vikt-% vatten, såsom mindre än 20 vikt-% vatten baserat på den totala vikten av cellulosa fibrerna.
4. Processen enligt något av de föregående kraven, där densiteten mätt enligt ISO 534:2011 för arken eller banan som tillhandahålls i steg a) är 400-750 kg/ m3, såsom 450-650 kg/mß, såsom 500-600 kg/mß.
5. Processen enligt något av de föregående kraven, där processen vidare innefattar steget: c1) separering av överskott av oxalsyra eller citronsyra eller maleinsyra från de reagerade arken, där steg c1) utförs efter reaktionssteget c) och före och/ eller under kylningsteget d).
6. Processen enligt något av de föregående kraven, där de reagerade arken eller banan kyls ned till en temperatur under 70 °C, såsom under 60 °C, i steg d).
7. Processen enligt något av de föregående kraven, där de reagerade arken eller banan tvättas med ett lösningsmedel under och/ eller efter kylningen i steg d).
8. Processen enligt något av de föregående kraven, där ark eller en bana av cellulosafibrer transporteras kontinuerligt genom processen med hjälp av en transportanordning, såsom ett transportband.
9. Processen enligt något av de föregående kraven, där reaktionen av oxalsyra eller citronsyra eller maleinsyra i steg c) utförs vid en temperatur inom intervallet 102- 125 °C, såsom inom intervallet 104-120 °C.
10. Processen enligt något av de föregående kraven, där oxalsyra appliceras i steg b) och den syrahydrolyserade cellulosan är cellulosaoxalater.
11. Processen enligt krav 10, där oxalsyran är oxalsyra-dihydrat.
12. En process för tillverkning av syrahydrolyserad nanocellulosa, innefattande följande steg: a) tillhandahållande av ark eller en bana av cellulosafibrer; b) applicering av oxalsyra eller citronsyra eller maleinsyra på arken eller banan; c) reaktion av oxalsyra eller citronsyra eller maleinsyra som applicerats i steg b) vid en temperatur inom intervallet 70-135 °C med cellulosa från arken eller bana för att bilda syrahydrolyserad cellulosa; d) kylning av den syrahydrolyserade cellulosan; - tillsättning av vatten eller en vätska med lägre polaritet än vatten till den syrahydrolyserade cellulosan; och - suspendering av den syrahydrolyserade cellulosan i vattnet eller vätskan med lägre polaritet än vatten med åtminstone en teknik vald från gruppen bestående av sonikering, mikrofluidisering, homogenisering, uppslagning och malning för att erhålla syrahydrolyserad nanocellulosa, där processen i stegen a) - d) är en kontinuerlig eller semi-kontinuerlig process.
13. Processen enligt krav 12, där den syrahydrolyserade cellulosan suspenderas i vatten och pH justeras till att vara inom intervallet 9-10 innan den syrahydrolyserade cellulosan suspenderas för att erhålla syrahydrolyserad nanocellulosa.
14. En process för tillverkning av syrahydrolyserad nanocellulosa, innefattande följande steg: a) tillhandahållande av ark eller en bana av cellulosafibrer; b) applicering av oxalsyra eller citronsyra eller maleinsyra på arken eller banan;c) reaktion av oxalsyra eller citronsyra eller maleinsyra som applicerats i steg b) vid en temperatur inom intervallet 70-135 °C med cellulosa från arken eller banan för att bilda syrahydrolyserad cellulosa; d) kylning av den syrahydrolyserade cellulosan; - tillsättning av olja eller hartser till den syrahydrolyserade cellulosan; och - suspendering av den syrahydrolyserade cellulosan i oljan eller hartset med åtminstone en teknik vald från gruppen bestående av extrusion, sonikering, mikrofluidisering, uppslagning och malning för att erhålla syrahydrolyserad nanocellulosa, där processen i stegen a) - d) år en kontinuerlig eller semi-kontinuerlig process.
