Abstract

The invention relates to a torque transmitter device (10) for transmitting torque between a driving unit (2) and a driven unit (4) of a vehicle (1), the torque transmitter device (10) comprising a torsional damper (20) including: a first part (22) configured to be connected with the driving unit (2); a second part (24) configured to be connected with the driven unit (4); at least one resilient element (26) connecting the first part (22) and the second part (24); and a friction device (30) arranged to apply torsional friction between the first part (22) and the second part (24) and thereby reduce the amplitude of resonance vibrations in the resilient element (26), wherein the torque transmitter device (10) further comprises an actuator (40) controllable to affect the friction device (30) of the torsional damper (20) to regulate the applied torsional friction and thus the damping of the torsional damper (20).
