Abstract
A server (110) provides a traffic-light related service to a plurality of vehicles (101 -103). The server (110) receives a source message (MS) from a control system (130) of a traffic light (140). The source message (MS) indicates a time of a state change of the traffic light (140). The server (110) also receives at least one sensor message (MSS1, MSS2, MSS3) from at least one vehicle in the plurality of vehicles (101-103). The at least one sensor message (MSS1, MSS2, MSS3) is indicative of at least one time of the state change of the traffic light (140). The server (1 10) calculates a timing difference of the state change based on the source message (MS) and the at least one sensor message (MSS1, MSS2, MSS3). The server (110) adapts the service using the calculated timing difference by generating control data for at least one vehicle in the plurality of vehicles (101-103) using the calculated timing difference. The adaption is effected by sending at least one control message (CM, CM, CM) to at least one vehicle in the plurality of vehicles (101-103), which control message contains the control data.
