Method (500) and control arrangement (300) for controlling an ADAS (150) of a vehicle (100), which ADAS (150) is configured to monitor a vehicle environment in a future driving direction of the vehicle (100). The method (500) comprises determining (501) that the vehicle (100) is approaching an intersection (400), regulated by at least one traffic light (120, 220, 240); predicting (502), before the vehicle (100) is passing the intersection (400), a future driving direction of the vehicle (100) after the intersection (400); identifying (503) the traffic light (120) regulating the traffic in the predicted (502) future driving direction; receiving (504) information from a transmitter (130), associated with the identified (503) traffic light (120); and activating (505) at least a human machine interface (310) of the ADAS (150) of the vehicle (100), based on the received (504) information.
