Abstract
Uppfinningen avser en metod att optimera den kemiska fällningsprocessen i vatten- och avloppsreningsverk vid användning av en aluminiumbaserad koagulant, varvid optimeringen, som innefattar klarfattenfasens föroreningsgrad efter fällning och slamavskiljning, driftskostnad och slamproduktion, uppnås genom in situ-reglering, av fällnings-pH, mängd koagulant (per m3 kemfällt vatten) som används i fällningsprocessen samt koagulantens basicitet, baserat på on-line mätning av föroreningsgrad, pH, flöde och temperatur i inkommande orenat vatten och/eller i klarvattenfasen,kännetecknad av att koagulantens basicitet regleras genom att till en stamlösning av polymeriserad aluminiumbaserad koagulant (A) in situ tillsätta syra eller en lösning av en aluminiumbaserad koagulant (B) som har lägre basicitet än den polymeriserade aluminiumbaserad koagulanten (A) i stamlösningen, för att på så sätt in situ erhålla den aluminiumbaserade koagulanten som används i fällningsprocessen.
