Abstract
The present invention relates to a system (I) for facilitating removal of ice (20) from the surface (10b) of an element (10) by means of ultrasonic waves from at least one ultrasonic transducer (T) arranged in connection to said element. The system (I) comprises means for activating said at least one ultrasonic transducer, wherein said at least one ultrasonic transducer (T) is arranged to be operated so that ultrasonic waves at a frequency shifting the phase of a layer (22) of the ice facing the surface (10b) of the element (10) are generated so as to facilitate removal of said ice (20).The present invention also relates to a for facilitating removal of ice from the surface of an element by means of ultrasonic waves from at least one ultrasonic transducer arranged in connection to said element. The present invention also relates to a vehicle.
