Description

DISTRIBUTION PACKAGE AND DISTRIBUTION PARCEL FOR USE IN LAYINGDISTRIBUTION OF CLOTHES Field of invention The invention relates to a distribution package for use in layingdistribution of clothes on hangers, the hangers having a hook portion and aclothes hanging portion.
The invention also relates to a distribution parcel for laying distributionof clothes on hangers, the distribution parcel including a first and a second piece of clothing, and a distribution package.
Technical Backgroundlt is known to distribute clothing on hangers hanging on racks inside large containers. A drawback with this is that it is designed for transport of largequantities of clothes. Such distribution may e.g. be used for transport from amanufacturing site to a central distribution facility. lt is also known to distribute clothing in laying distribution where theclothes are folded and stacked in stacks. A drawback with such a distribution isthat most types of clothes become wrinkled and some types of clothes evenbecome damaged. Suit jackets with shoulder pads are a kind of clothing that maybe damaged with this kind a distribution.
Summary of inventionlt is an object of the invention to provide a distribution package for use in laying distribution of clothes on hangers, which a distribution packageeliminates or at least reduces the problems with the clothes being wrinkledand/or damaged.
This object has been achieved by a distribution package for use in layingdistribution of clothes on hangers, the hangers having a hook portion and aclothes hanging portion, wherein the distribution package comprises a bottom wall adapted to face downwardly during distribution, anopposing top wall adapted to face upwardly during distribution, and a pluralityof further walls, which extend along a height direction between the bottom walland top wall and which together with the bottom wall and top wall form an enclosure adapted to protect the clothes and hangers during distribution, a first attachment member positioned at a first side portion of theenclosure, the first attachment member being adapted to extend along the heightdirection and to interact with the hook portion of one or more hangers in a firstset of hangers, the first attachment member being adapted to prevent movementof respective hanger in the first set of hangers relative the first attachmentmember in a direction extending from the hook portion towards the clotheshanging portion of respective hanger, a first set of abutment portions positioned at the first side portion oftheenclosure, the first abutment portions being adapted to interact with the clotheshanging portion of respective hanger of said first set of hangers and to preventmovement of the respective hanger relative the first set of abutment portions ina direction extending from the clothes hanging portion towards the hook portionof respective hanger, a second attachment member positioned at a second side portion oftheenclosure, opposite the first side portion of the enclosure, the second attachmentmember being adapted to extend along the height direction and to interact withthe hook portion of one or more hangers in a second set of hangers, the secondattachment member being adapted to prevent movement of respective hanger inthe second set of hangers relative the second attachment member in a directionextending from the hook portion towards the clothes hanging portion ofrespective hanger, a second set of abutment portions positioned at the second side portion ofthe enclosure, the second set of abutment portions being adapted to interactwith the clothes hanging portion of respective hanger in the second set ofhangers and to prevent movement of the respective hanger relative the secondset of abutment portions in a direction extending from the clothes hangingportion towards the hook portion of respective hanger.
With a distribution package designed in this manner it is possible tosecurely distribute clothes in laying distribution. Laying distribution is useful fordistribution of comparably small amount of clothes. lt is easy to stack a numberof distribution packages one over another when the packages rest on theirrespective major surfaces. The fact that it is useful for comparably small amountof clothes makes it possible to use the same package all the way from themanufacturing site to the clothing store without any need for repackaging at any central distribution facility.
The combination of the attachment member and the associated abutmentportions will effectively keep any hangers attached to respective attachmentmember in place and thereby also any clothing on such a hanger will be keptsecurely in place. The fact that the distribution package is provided with asecond attachment member and second abutment portions in the opposite sideofthe package provides a good usage of the space available, since the hangersand the portions of the clothing at the hangers typically build height significantlymore than the portions of the clothes at a distance from its associated hanger. Moreover, the fact that the hangers will be kept in place and the clothing will bekept in place on the hangers will result in that the shape of the hangers shapewill continue to support and protect the shape ofthe portion of the clothingwrapped around the clothes hanging portion ofthe hanger.
The abutment portions may be adapted to interact with the clotheshanging portion ofthe hangers in different manners depending e.g. upondifferent properties of the clothes that are hung on the respective hanger. ln one embodiment, the abutment portions are positioned relative to theattachment member and designed relative to the hanger such that the portion ofthe clothes wrapped around the upper edge of the straight or inclined clotheshanging portion ofthe hanger is clamped between the abutment portions andthe clothes hanging portion of the hanger. Thereby there is provided a fixation ofthe hanger and the clothing. This clamping may be provided by an interferencefit between the abutment portions and hanger as such. Alternatively, theclamping may be provided by a loose fit being smaller than the thickness oftheportion ofthe clothing adapted to be positioned between the abutment portionsand the hanger. ln one embodiment, the abutment portions are positioned relative to theattachment member and designed relative to the hanger such that there is asmall play, i.e. a loose fit, between the abutment portions, the hanger and theclothing on the hanger. As long as the loose fit is not large enough to allow thehanger to be detached from the attachment member, the hanger will still beprevented from moving freely in the distribution package. lt is also conceivable to use combinations of the above designs concerninginterference fit and/or loose fit. ln one embodiment, the abutment portions are positioned relative to theattachment member and designed relative to the hanger such that a first portionof the clothes hanging portion abuts the abutment portions with an interference fit and a second portion of the clothes hanging portion abuts the abutment portions with a loose fit. ln this situation the first portion may e.g. be a portionclose to the stem of the hook portion where there is no portion of the clothingwrapped around the hanger and the second portion may be two portions, one oneither side, where there is a portion ofthe clothes wrapped around the hanger.ln another embodiment, the first portion close to the stem of the hook abuts theabutment portions with a loose fit and a second portion, formed oftwo portionson either side ofthe first portion, abuts the abutment portions with aninterference fit (interference fit as such or by a loose fit being smaller than thethickness of the clothing). Such a design could be useful for attaching a hangercarrying a jacket. The shoulder portions ofthe jacket could be used to clamp thehanger and jacket and the collar portion is located at the loose fit, therebypreventing the fold ofthe collar and lapel to be forced to carry any load.
Thus, the abutment portions and the hanger may abut each other directly. The abutment portions and the hanger may abut each other directly in a loose fitand/or interference fit. The abutment portions and the hanger may abut eachother indirectly, i.e. with a portion ofthe clothing between the abutmentportions and the hanger. The abutment portions and the hanger may abut eachother indirectly with an interference fit (interference fit as such or by a loose fitbeing smaller than the thickness of the clothing) or a loose fit (remaining loosealso with clothing between the abutment portion and the hanger).
Also the design may be provided with combinations of the above inrespect of different portions ofthe abutment between the abutment portionsand the hanger. The different portions may have an abutment according to anyof the abutment versions direct/indirect/interference/ loose may.
When discussing the different directions it may be useful to introduce acoordinate system with three orthogonal directions; a height extending betweenthe bottom wall and top wall; a length extending between the first and secondattachment members and a width extending along the extension of the clotheshanging portion of the clothes hangers. lt should be noted that although thecoordinate system is orthogonal, the actual physical members need not becompletely orthogonal to the other. The different walls or other members maybe inclined relative to each other. lt is however often preferred that the top andbottom walls are parallel to each other in order to facilitate stacking of aplurality of distribution packages. Likewise is it often preferred that thesidewalls extend truly orthogonal to the top and bottom walls which will renderthem to extend truly vertically which is beneficial in view of their load bearing capacity during stacking of a plurality of distribution packages.
The extension of the attachment members along the height direction mayin one embodiment be such that they extend in parallel with the height direction.ln this embodiment, the attachment member may be designed such that itpresents a single line ofinteraction and positioning ofthe hangers in respectiveset of hangers. Alternatively, the attachment member may be designed such thatit presents two different lines of interaction and positioning ofthe hangers, e.g.depending upon if the hook is oriented in a left-hand or right-hand orientationalong the width direction. The two different lines may be accomplished by twoseparate members forming said attachment member or by a single attachmentmember being asymmetrically designed. Asymmetrically may e.g. be in thesense that the design along the width and length on one side ofa centre linealong the length is different than the design along the width and length on theother side of said centre line. ln another embodiment, the attachment members extend inclined suchthat it extends also along the length as it extends along the height. Thisinclination may be continuous or step wise. With such a design, different hangersinteracting with the attachment member will be offset neighbouring hangers orat least offset other hangers at a relevant distance in height. lt should be noted that with the different kinds of offsets due to inclinedattachment members or due to the dual positioning, the abutment portionsshould be correspondingly formed such that the abutment portions associatedwith the respective hanger fulfils the requirement that they are adapted tointeract with the clothes hanging portion of respective hanger to preventmovement of the respective hanger relative the abutment portions in a directionextending from the clothes hanging portion towards the hook portion ofrespective hanger The distribution package may further comprise at least one removableintermediate plate adapted to be positioned at a height between the bottom walland the top wall to aid in keeping the clothes in place during distribution. Withthe introduction of intermediate plate it becomes possible to separate clothesindividually or into sets of clothes along the height direction. Thereby the clothesare given even less possibility to move during distribution.
The abutment portions may comprise slots adapted to receive tongues ofthe intermediate plate to thereby hold the intermediate plate on said height. Thisway the intermediate plate will not only separate the clothes from each other but will also retain its position on the intended height.
The top wall, bottom wall and side walls of the distribution package maybe formed of paper board, preferably corrugated paper board. This is a materialthat is comparably cheap, easy to shape into a distribution package, light-weightand still capable of providing a distribution package protecting the clothesduring distribution.
The attachment members may be formed of paper board, preferablycorrugated paper board. As mentioned above, this is a material that iscomparably cheap, easy to shape into a distribution package, light-weight andstill capable of providing a distribution package protecting the clothes duringdistribution. lt may in this context be noted that it is conceivable to use othercombinations of materials. lt is e.g. conceivable that the walls are of paper board, preferably corrugated paper board and the attachment members and/ orabutment portions are made of another material, such as a plastic material or ametal. lt is e.g. conceivable that the walls and the abutment portions are of paperboard, preferably corrugated paper board, and the attachment members is madeof another material, such as a plastic material or a metal.
The attachment member may be formed of a sheet being folded about oneor more fold lines extending along the height direction. This is a useful way ofprovided a strong attachment member and still being able to design it of a paperboard, preferably corrugated paper board.
The first set of abutment portions may comprise a first abutment portionpositioned in a width direction, transverse to the height direction, on one side ofthe first attachment member and a second abutment portion positioned in thewidth direction on another side of the first attachment member. This way it isprevented that the hanger swings from side to side and thereby any clothes aremore securely kept in place in the distribution package.
Also, the second set of abutment portions may comprise a first abutmentportion positioned in the width direction on one side of the second attachmentmember and a second abutment portion positioned in the width direction onanother side ofthe second attachment member.
The first and second abutment portions may comprise abutment surfacesextending in a plane extending on one hand in the height direction. This way theabutment portions will present an abutment surface towards the hanger and theclothes on the hanger even if the hanger and clothes will move slightly along the height direction.
The first and/or second abutment portions comprises abutment surfacesextending in a plane extending away from its associated attachment member inan inclined direction having in a width direction, transverse to the heightdirection, a component away from its associated attachment member and in alength direction, transverse to both the height and width direction, a componenttowards the other attachment member. Such a design will essentially follow thetypical triangular or pointy shape of a clothes hanger for jackets and shirts.
The first and/ or second abutment portions may comprise abutmentsurfaces extending in a plane extending away from its associated attachmentmember in a width direction transverse to the height direction and transverse toa length direction. lt may be noted that in one embodiment both the first and secondabutment portions have the inclined extension. lt may be noted that in anotherembodiment the first abutment portions have the inclined extension and thesecond abutment portions have the transverse extension. ln this latter design, jackets on hangers are positioned at the first abutment portion and trousers orskirts on straight hangers are positioned at the second abutment portions. lt may also be noted that the first and/or second abutment portions mayas such also be combinations of inclined and transverse extensions, such that acentral portion close to the attachment member e.g. is transverse and distalportions on either side are inclined, or vice versa.
The abutment portions may be formed of paper board, preferablycorrugated paper board. As mentioned above, this is a material that iscomparably cheap, easy to shape into a distribution package, light-weight andstill capable of providing a distribution package protecting the clothes duringdistribution.
According to one aspect there is provided a distribution package for usein laying distribution of clothes on hangers, the hangers having a hook portionand a clothes hanging portion, wherein the distribution package comprises afirst attachment member and a first set of abutment portions positioned at a firstside portion, and wherein the distribution package further comprises a secondattachment member and a second set of abutment portions positioned at asecond side portion.
The above object has also been addressed with a distribution parcelfor laying distribution of clothes on hangers, the hangers having a hook portionand a clothes hanging portion, the distribution parcel comprising a first piece of clothing, a second piece of Clothing, and a distribution package with a first attachment member and a secondattachment member, wherein the first piece of clothing is arranged on a first hanger being attached tothe first attachment member and extends in a length direction from said hangertowards the second attachment member, and the second piece of clothing is arranged on a second hanger beingattached to the second attachment member and extends from said hanger in alength direction towards the first attachment member. ln this manner clothes may be distributed in laying distribution onhangers and still be protected from being wrinkled or otherwise damaged.
The length direction may relative to respective hanger be oriented along adirection in which clothes will hang vertically down from the hanger when thehanger is hung on a horizontally extending rod and wherein said length directionduring distribution is horizontally arranged.
The parcel may further comprise removable intermediate plate betweenthe first piece of clothing and the second piece of clothing. Alternatively, theremovable intermediate plate is located between a first set of clothing and asecond set of clothing. ln this latter design, the intermediate plate is thus notlocated between each individual piece of clothing but between sets or groups of clothing.

Detailed description of preferred embodimentsln Fig. 1 and Fig. 2, there are shown two different exploded, perspective views of a distribution package 1. The distribution package 1 is adapted for usein laying distribution of clothes 2 on hangers 3; see e.g. Fig. 3a and Fig. 3b.
The hangers 3 have typically a hook portion 3a and a clothes hangingportion 3b.
The distribution package 1 comprises a bottom wall 11 with an outsidesurface adapted to face downwardly during distribution (in the Figures 1 and 2,the reference number 11 points on the inside surface of the bottom wall 11which is intended to be facing upwardly during distribution), an opposing topwall 12 with an outside surface adapted to face upwardly during distribution, and a plurality of further walls 13a-d.
As is apparent from Fig. 4, the bottom wall 11 and the top wall 12,respectively, are in the preferred embodiment formed of two panels 11a, 11band 12a, 12b adapted to be folded towards each other together forming thebottom 11 and top 12 walls.
The further walls 13a-d are adapted to extend along a height direction Hbetween the bottom wall 11 and top wall 12 and form together with the bottomwall 11 and top wall 12 an enclosure adapted to protect the clothes 2 andhangers 3 during distribution.
The distribution package 1 comprises a first attachment member 21positioned at a first side portion S1 of the enclosure and a second attachmentmember 22 positioned at a second side portion S2 ofthe enclosure, opposite thefirst side portion S1 ofthe enclosure.
The first attachment member 21 is adapted to extend along the heightdirection H and to interact with the hook portion 3a of one or more hangers 3 ina first set of hangers. The first attachment member 21 is adapted to preventmovement of respective hanger 3 in the first set of hangers relative the firstattachment member 21 in a direction L1 extending from the hook portion 3atowards the clothes hanging portion 3b of respective hanger 3.
The second attachment member 22 is adapted to extend along the height direction H and to interact with the hook portion 3a of one or more hangers 3 in a second set of hangers. The second attachment member 22 is adapted toprevent movement of respective hanger 3 in the second set hangers relative thesecond attachment member 22 in a direction L2 extending from the hookportion 3a towards the clothes hanging portion 3b of respective hanger 3.
The distribution package 1 comprises a first set of abutment portions41a-b positioned at the first side portion S1 ofthe enclosure and a second set ofabutment portions 42a-b positioned at the second side portion S2 of theenclosure.
The first abutment portions 41a-b are adapted to interact with the clotheshanging portion 3b of respective hanger 3 of said first set of hangers and toprevent movement of the respective hanger 3 relative the first set of abutmentportions 41a-b in a direction L1' extending from the clothes hanging portion 3btowards the hook portion 3a of respective hanger 3.
The second set of abutment portions 42a-b are adapted to interact withthe clothes hanging portion 3b of respective hanger 3 in the second set ofhangers and to prevent movement of the respective hanger 3 relative the secondset of abutment portions 42a-b in a direction L2' extending from the clotheshanging portion 3b towards the hook portion 3a of respective hanger 3. lt may be noted that in the embodiment shown, the direction L1' isparallel to the direction L2 and the direction L2' is parallel to the direction L1.
When discussing the different directions it may be useful to introduce acoordinate system with three orthogonal directions; a height H extendingbetween the bottom wall and top wall; a length L extending between the firstand second attachment members 21, 22 and a width W orthogonal to the lengthL and the height H. ln the shown embodiment, the width W will have anextension along the major extension of the clothes hanging portion 3b of theclothes hangers 3.
The distribution package comprise at least one removable intermediateplate 50 adapted to be positioned at a suitable height H1 or H2 or H3 (see Fig. 2)between the bottom wall 11 and the top wall 12 to aid in keeping the clothes 2 inplace during distribution. The intermediate plate 50 is adapted to separateclothes 2 individually or into sets of clothes along the height direction H. lt maye.g. be useful to place one hanger 3 with a jacket 2 on the first attachmentmember 21 and to place one hanger 3 with a jacket 2 on the second attachmentmember 22 (see Fig. 3a). Thereafter an intermediate plate 50 may be positioned above the two jackets (the two jackets thereby forming a set of clothes). ll The abutment portions 41a-b. 42a-b comprise slots 43 adapted to receivetongues 53 of the intermediate plate 50 to thereby hold the intermediate plate50 on said height H1, H2, H3. This way the intermediate plate 50 will not onlyseparate the clothes 2 from each other but will also retain its position on theintended height H1, H2, H3.
The top wall 12, bottom wall 11 and side walls 13a-d ofthe distributionpackage 1 are formed of paper board, preferably corrugated paper board. This ise.g. accomplished by providing a sheet (see Fig. 4) with the different walls 11, 12,13a-d being formed as different portions adapted to be folded to form saidenclosure. ln Fig. 4-6, the solid lines indicate that the material is cut through thecomplete thickness of the material, and the dotted lines indicate crease or foldlines, where the material is intended to be folded. The crease or fold lines may beformed by a perforation or other kinds of partial cutting of the material; partialwhen it comes to the thickness and/or partial when it comes to the extensionalong the line. The crease of fold lines may also be formed by locally compressingthe material such that it locally loses some of its bending stiffness.
The attachment members 21, 22 are formed of paper board, preferablycorrugated paper board.
The attachment members 21, 22 are formed ofa sheet (see Fig. 6) beingfolded about a plurality of fold lines 21a-d adapted to extend along the heightdirection H once the respective attachment member 21, 22 is installed in thedistribution package 1. The attachment members 21, 22 extend with their mainextension in parallel with the height direction H.
The first set of abutment portions 41a-b comprise a first abutmentportion 41a positioned in a width direction W, transverse to the height directionH, on one side ofthe first attachment member 21 and a second abutment portion41b positioned in the width direction W on another side ofthe first attachmentmember 21. This way it is prevented that the hanger 3 swings from side to sideand thereby any clothes 2 are more securely kept in place in the distributionpackage 1.
Also, the second set of abutment portions 42a-b comprise a firstabutment portion 42a positioned in the width direction W on one side of thesecond attachment member 22 and a second abutment portion 42b positioned inthe width direction W on another side of the second attachment member 22.
As shown in Fig. 1 and Fig. 2, the first and second abutment portions41a-b, 42a-b comprise abutment surfaces extending in a plane which plane on one hand extends in the height direction H and on the other hand is inclined 12 such that it extends away from its associated attachment member in an inclineddirection having in a width direction W, transverse to the height direction H, acomponent away from its associated attachment member and in a lengthdirection L1, transverse to both the height H and width W direction, acomponent towards the other attachment member. ln the embodiment shown inthe Figures, this inclined extension is accomplished by a plane surface extendingin the height direction H and forming a triangle with respective corner of thedistribution package 1. Such a design will essentially follow the typical triangularor pointy shape of a clothes hanger for jackets and shirts. This way the abutmentportions will present an abutment surface towards the hanger and the clothes onthe hanger even if the hanger and clothes will move slightly along the heightdirection.
The abutment portions 41a-b, 42a-b are formed of paper board, preferably corrugated paper board. This is e.g. accomplished by providing asheet (see Fig. 5) with different portions being adapted to be folded to form atriangular prismatic body. The sheets forming the abutment portions 41a-b, 42a-b are provided with the above mentioned slots 43 adapted to receive thetongues of the intermediate plates 50. The sheets forming the abutment portions41a-b, 42a-b are provided with tongues 44 adapted to be received in slots 14 inthe sheet forming the top 12, bottom 11 and side 13a-d walls (see Fig. 4).
A rectangular portion 15 of the sheet in Fig. 4 is cut along three sides(solid lines) and foldable about a fourth side (dashed line). This rectangularportion 15 forms a flap 15 which provides access to the attachment member 21such that the hook portion 3a ofthe hangers 3 may be put into position but amovement counter the height direction H. The sheet of Fig. 4 is also providedwith a slot 16 extending as a continuation ofthe cut around the portion 15. Thisslot 16 allows the stem portion 3c ofthe hanger 3 to be moved downwardly suchthat the hanger 3 and clothes 2 are positioned at the desired height H. ln Fig. 1and Fig. 2, the flap 15 is in an open position at the first side portion S1 and in aclosed position at the second side portion S2. ln Fig. 3a and Fig. 3b, the flaps 15are for clarity reason removed. Once the hangers 3 are put in position, the flap15 is closed. ln the embodiment shown, the distribution package 1 also comprises atop plate 60 (see Fig. 8). The top plate 60 is adapted to be positioned a top ofthestack of clothes before the top wall 12 is formed by closing the two flapstogether. The top plate 60 is similarly as for the intermediate plate 50 provided 13 with tongues 63 adapted to be inserted into slots on the side walls or in theabutment portions. ln Fig. 3b, there is shown a distribution parcel for laying distribution ofclothes 2 on hangers 3, the hangers 3 having a hook portion 3a and a clotheshanging portion 3b. The distribution parcel comprises a first piece of clothing 2, a second piece of clothing 2', and a distribution package 1 with a first attachment member 21 and a secondattachment member 22, wherein the first piece of clothing 2 is arranged on a first hanger 3 being attachedto the first attachment member 21 and extends in a length direction L1 from saidhanger 3 towards the second attachment member 22, and the second piece of clothing 2' is arranged on a second hanger 3 beingattached to the second attachment member 22 and extends from said hanger 3in a length direction L2 towards the first attachment member 21. lt may be noted that the length direction L1, L2 is relative to respectivehanger 3 oriented along a direction in which clothes 2, 2' will hang verticallydown from the hanger 3 when the hanger is hung on a horizontally extendingrod and wherein said length direction L1, l2 during distribution is horizontallyarranged.
For clarity reasons, the removable intermediate plate 50 has beenremoved from Fig. 3b. ln distribution, the removable intermediate plate 50 ispreferably present between the first piece of clothing 2 and the second piece ofclothing 2' or between a first set of clothing and a second set of clothing. lt is contemplated that there are numerous modifications of theembodiments described herein, which are still within the scope of the inventionas defined by the appended claims. lt may in this context be noted that it is conceivable to use othercombinations of materials. lt is e.g. conceivable that the walls are of paper board, preferably corrugated paper board and the attachment members and/orabutment portions are made of another material, such as a plastic material or ametal. lt is e.g. conceivable that the walls and the abutment portions are of paperboard, preferably corrugated paper board, and the attachment members is madeof another material, such as a plastic material or a metal.
The first and/or second abutment portions may comprise abutmentsurfaces extending in a plane extending away from its associated attachment member in a width direction transverse to the height direction and transverse to 14 a length direction. This may e.g. be suitable for hangers design for trousers orskirts. lt may be noted that in one embodiment both the first and secondabutment portions have the inclined extension. lt may be noted that in anotherembodiment the first abutment portions have the inclined extension and thesecond abutment portions have the transverse extension. ln this latter design, jackets on hangers are positioned at the first abutment portion and trousers orskirts on straight hangers are positioned at the second abutment portions. ln oneembodiment both the first and second abutment portions have the transverseextension.
The transverse extension may e.g. be accomplished by simply removingthe triangular prismatic elements in Fig. 1 and Fig 2, at one or both side portionsS1, S2. ln such a case the intermediate plate 50 will be designed as the top plate60 at the side portion S1, S2 where there is no triangular prismatic element. lfthe triangular prismatic elements are removed at both side portions S1 and S2,the top plate 60 may be used as intermediate plates. The tongues 63 ofthe plates60 will in such a place be inserted into the slots 14, 14' formed on the panels 13c'and 13a' forming inside surfaces ofthe side walls 13c and 13a. Alternatively, thetriangular prismatic elements may be replaced with rectangular prismaticelements provided with slots. lt may be noted that when discussing the triangular and rectangularprismatic elements it is referred to the geometrical shape. The elements neednot physically have all the side surfaces. lt is sufficient that the surface formingthe abutment portions is present to form the abutment portion. Preferably, thesurfaces forming the abutment portions are fully present. The other surfacesmay be completely or partially missing. lt may also be noted that the first and/or second abutment portions mayas such also be combinations of inclined and transverse extensions, such that acentral portion close to the attachment member e.g. is transverse and distal portions on either side are inclined, or vice versa.
