Abstract

The chipboard plate incorporates a decorative lowered area and is made of compressed woodchips and sawdust with a greater density within the area lowered and decorative. The plate is produced by application of the wood material on a first pressed cushion, movement of this cushion and a second such cushion towards each other by means of a drive unit. The second press cushion incorporates a projecting component corresponding to the shape of teh decorative lowered area. After the two cushions have been finally pressed together, they are then separated and the formed plate, as a completed product, is removed.
