Abstract

The invention relates to a support stand 10 for a table for supporting a computer display unit, a monitor or equivalent and for adjusting the height position of the display unit or monitor. The support stand 10 comprises a frame 10 and a slide part 16 and at least one guide 11a1, 11a2 for the slide part 16. There is a screw 15 which can be turned in connection with the frame 11 and which is operatively engaged by its threads n1 with mating threads n2 provided in the slide part 16. In the device arrangement, a support table 19 for the display unit or monitor or equivalent is connected to the slide part 16 through an arm part 18. By turning the screw 15 the slide part 16 can raised and lowered along the guides 11a1, 11a2 and the support table 19 connected with the slide part 16 can be adjusted in its height position.
