Abstract

A system for fixing shelf accessories, such as shelf dividers, forward-feed devices, product trays, etc., on a shelf (1), with a front fixing device (2) for fixing accessories, which system comprises: a rear retaining device (7) intended to be supported by the shelf, and an accessory (3) which has a front engagement member (6) intended to cooperate with the front fixing device of the shelf and a rear engagement part (9), the rear retaining device and the rear engagement part being designed such that, when in engagement with one another, they limit movement of a rear portion of the accessory in a direction away from the plane of the shelf. According to the invention, the rear engagement part (9) and the rear retaining device (7) are designed such that, in said engagement, they permit movement of the rear portion of the accessory parallel to the plane of the shelf. The invention also relates to an accessory (3) and a retaining device (7) for such a system, a method for arranging such a retaining device (7) on a shelf, an assembly tool (20, 30) for carrying out the method, a shelf (1) with such a system, and a shelf with such a retaining device.
