Abstract
Each stator pole coil (10-12) is connected in parallel with a capacitor (61-63). The rotor (100) comprises a cylindrical body of ferromagnetic material. A starter current circuit (100) is used to pass a dc current pulse with a low voltage through one of the pole coils. - The stator (71) has at least two separate poles (72-74), each with a pole coil and rotor.
