Abstract

The invention relates to an air treatment apparatus (1) with an air distributor (12) for the purpose of spreading the air downstreams of a fan outlet (11) in order to obtain an improved use of the following cooling or filtering or silencing units, and comprising a plane element, provided with holes (17). According to the invention the fan outlet (11) is provided wth a thin, flexible air distributor (12) in the form of a vertical fabric or the like, which its upper and lower edges (13 and 14 respectively), is fastened to the corresponding edges (15 and 17 respectively) of the fan outlet, whereas the side edges of the distributor are loose and not fastened to the fan outlet, the fabric of the like, between the fastening edges at the fan outlet, being substantially longer than the fan outlet in the same direction for the purpose of obtaining a bending of the air distributor, when the fan is activated and in this way obtain a substantially radial spreading of the air, which escape through the fabric or the like, in relation to the obtained bending radius.
