Abstract

Fumes are captured in a cavity (16) between the lower opening in the hood and a filter (4) located in an upwards-tapered duct part (9). A throttle device (7) can be moved between open and closed positions in order to allow air to exit the upper opening (11) in the duct part. The filter is located at a different height than the light (5) and the control device (6) for the throttle device and light.
