Abstract

The mounting device comprises a cover plate (1) with a central region (6) containing upwards-protruding bolts. The cover plate is fixed between the outer sealing layer (2) of the construction element and the intermediate insulation layer of this element. The threaded parts of the bolts extend through the sealing layer to fix the fitting in place. The central region of the plate protrudes slightly from the plane of the plate. The plate is bonded to the sealing layer. The construction element has the insulation layer provided on top of a support layer. An independent claim is also included for a method for securing a fitting to a construction element using this device.
