Abstract

A booster cushion (1) having a squab (2) and a back (3) is intended for use by a child on a vehicle seat. The back-rest (3) is connected to the squab for pivotal movement. A clip (5) is provided incorporating a resilient element (19) which is adapted to be deflected by a member (20) as the back-rest moves pivotally from a first position having a degree of inclination relative to the squab, and a second position having a different degree of inclination. When the back-rest is in either position the resilient element (18) maintains the back-rest in that position.
