Abstract

The present invention refers to a component (2, 3, 7) to be included in a milk-handling device. The component (2, 3, 7) is at least partly manufactured in a polymeric material. The polymeric material is arranged to be in contact with milk at least during an operational state of the milk-handling device. Particles are embedded in the polymeric material and that said particles include silver.
