Abstract

The present invention relates to a splash guard for kitchen ranges (1) comprising a flexible screen or curtain (3), which is extendable to a length desired to cover at least one of a side space of a stove between the stove and a stove ventilator and at the same time guide cooking fumes in a direction up towards the stove ventilator. The curtain (3) is removably supported in a cassette (2), which is mountable to the under edge of the stove ventilator by aid of a fastening rail (4), which either magnetically or by aid of a dovetail formed slot (5) having cooperating projections (6), supports said cassette (2), whereby the same is displaceable in the deep direction of the stove having either extended or retracted curtain.
