Abstract

A method of positioning a sample (1) of an item, which comprises a crease line (2) or a similar embossment, in a test equipment for test of selected characteristics ofthe item sample, wherein the crease line (2) in the item sample is detected bymeans of a sensor arrangement (14a,b), andwherein a control unit (8) receives asignal, from the sensor arrangement (14a,b), which signal indicates a presence ofthe crease line (2). The control unit (8) provides a control signal to a driving device(9a,b 11a,b) based on the received signal from the sensor arrangement (14a,b), and places the item sample (1) in a first position by means of the driving device (9a,b 11a,b) depending on a value of the control signal.
