Abstract
An arrangement for shrinking a heat-shrinkable tubing over an object (1, 2) by means of a source of hot air (8, 9), comprises a first tube (4) that is open at one end (6), closed at its other end (5), and provided with a slot (7) adjacent its closed end for receiving the object (1, 2) with the heat-shrinkable tubing (3), and means (12, 13, 14) that are adapted to move the first tube (4) to an active position in which the object (1, 2) with the heat-shrinkable tubing (3) is received in the slot (7) and the open end (6) is connected to the source (8, 9) of hot air, from a passive position in which the first tube (4) is out of connection with the source (8, 9) of hot air.
