Abstract

There are on the market a number of products of so-called laundry bags. The purpose of the laundry bag is to gather all the underwear and similar articles in the same place while machine washing is in progress. The bag also prevents metal loops or similar to cause machine breakdown. Laundry bags which are on the market (Sweden) are made of a thin nylon material and are opened/closed by an inserted zipper. The sock sorter is sewn in a perforated, durable and fast drying synthetic material (100 % polyester). The material is far more washable than the laundry bags on the market today. My product is of higher quality and is therefore more washable. What makes my product special, besides the improvement in quality, is the double function. What's good is that socks or other articles in pairs don't have to be handled any more after you fasten them in their elastic holes until after the laundry bag and the articles have dried (one working moment). Then, in a simple move of the hand, you pull them out in pairs and with that the washing procedure is finished. The entire bag is, consequently, hung up to dry after being emptied of possible loose articles. When the bag isn't needed for socks it works just as well on other articles, or it can, with advantage, wash articles inside the bag at the same time as it washes socks - a double function. What's completely new about my product is that you don't have to look for/sort out socks when the washing is done. This, as well as the hanging up/drying being solved in one working moment, is extremely time-saving. You get the best washing result by fastening the socks so the footpart hangs "outside" the bag (in it's elastic holes) while the legs of the socks, which are often less dirty, are inside the bag.
