The levels of operating noise and/or environment noise and/or inner cabin noise of the vehicle braking system are detected by sensor system (109) and provided from control units (110), fed to control unit (107) of braking system to control components like pump (104), pump motor (105) and valve (116). Pulse-interval relationship for timing of pump is varied according to the noise.
