Abstract

The fastener device (15) has a hook element (16), which is connected to the load carrier foot and engages under a roof edge section. An anchoring element (11) fastened to the side of the vehicle under the edge section acts with the hook element to fasten the foot to the roof. The hook acts with a gap formed between anchoring element and vehicle side. The anchoring element is formed by a cut-out (26) in the vehicle side.
