Abstract

The rotor body shafts (8, 9) contain central cooling channels which are open only at the compressor part end. The pump (1) has a compressor part (2) with cooperating male and female rotor bodies (10, 11), an inlet port (28) for the gas being compressed, and an outlet port (29) for the compressed gas. An expansion part (3) of the pump has cooperating male and female rotor bodies (12, 13), an inlet port (34) for a compressed gas and an outlet port (35) for the expanded gas. The pump has two shafts for the rotor bodies, which are enclosed in a casing (4-6) formed by two intersecting cylinders. A partition wall (7) is provided between the rotor bodies in the compressor part and the rotor bodies in the expansion part.
