Abstract
During sintering, the creep is reduced. A hard metal turning blade for milling applications comprises tungsten carbide with a mean particle size of 1-3 microns and 3-15 weight % cobalt. The blade material is made by reducing creep to 25-80 microns/minute during sintering at 1050-1250 degrees C.
