The method of determining the effective dose of an antiseptic drug, an electrolytic solution of sodium hypochlorite for the treatment and prevention of purulent-inflammatory diseases by incubating the pathogen in a medium with different concentrations of the drug and identifying the minimum bacteriostatic concentration of the drug, characterized in that it further determines the bacteriostatic concentration of the drug, the test material is sown simultaneously from samples with a sub-bacteriostatic concentration of the drug and a control sample and the culture medium containing interferon is incubated with crops, the grown colonies of the pathogen are killed with chloroform vapor, the medium surface is poured with a layer of nutrient agar with an indicator strain of the test culture, it is re-incubated and the drug dose is judged by the lack of growth of the test culture around the studied strain in the experimental sample compared to control.
