Abstract

FIELD: rocket manufacturing, applicable for launching of launch vehicles, mainly, from water surface. SUBSTANCE: launch pedestal is additionally furnished with a pontoon installed in the ship dock chamber; support systems are arranged in isolated rooms inside the pontoon; the launch vehicle is positioned under the pontoon along its axis. The pontoon may be furnished with floats and a device for moving them apart. Launch pedestal makes it possible to use a single surface ship with a dock chamber made in it, provide a safe start of launch vehicles with cryogenic propellant. Employment of a pontoon in the launch pedestal simplifies operation of missile complex and provides for subsequent modernization without modification of the launch vehicle. EFFECT: enhanced safety.

Claims (3)

1. The starting system for launching from the water surface of the launch vehicle, mainly with cryogenic fuel, placed on a surface ship and containing a launch pad, a lifting and mounting unit and providing systems including, for example, cryogenic fueling, power and gas supply systems, characterized in that it is equipped with a pontoon placed in a docking chamber organized on the ship, and the supporting systems are located in the internal isolated rooms of the pontoon, and the rocket is mounted above the pontoon the hold along its axis. 2. 2. The launch system according to claim 1, characterized in that the pontoon is provided with elongated floats pivotally attached to the ends of the pivots attached to the sides of the pontoon, while in the initial position the floats are located along the bow and stern sides of the pontoon, and in the away from In its position they are oriented with their longitudinal axis perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the pontoon. 3. 3. The starting system according to paragraphs. 1 and 2, characterized in that the floats are perforated.
