Abstract
FIELD: ferrous metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to equipment providing postburning of atmosphere combustible components in arc steel-smelting furnaces. Furnace has bottom side walls, and roof, and additionally oxygen lance with perforations for postburning of combustible components placed into furnace laboratory through its roof, and also pipelines connected to perforations. A pocket is made in the roof of furnace with lance in its top part. Lance is constructed in the form of a barrel with bottom in its upper part. Pipelines approach inner cylindrical surface of barrel tangentially in horizontal plane, whereas lower part of barrel is made as a curved diffuser with its surface tangentially coupled with pocket surface. Body of barrel is made of metal and is cooled, or of refractory material. EFFECT: enhanced postburning efficiency and efficiency of transferring evolving heat to metal. 1 dwg
