Housing is made in the form of cylinder accommodating, for instance, 96 cylinders in twelve diametrically opposite planes. Axes of cylinders are parallel to generatrix of housing and engine shaft. Cylinders are located at both end faces of housing, i.e. in two rows. Pistons of opposite cylinders are arranged on one axis and are in opposite cycles. Rollers mounted on ends of piston rods are in contact with disc of rotor which has at both ends, for instance, three stages of parallel sinusoidal paths. Eight cylinders of engine which are in one cycle have common combustion chamber made in the form of torus. Rods of two adjacent cylinders which are in different phases are coupled by bell crank of swinging mechanism. EFFECT: increased compression ratio and power output, simplified design, reduced weight and overall dimensions.
