FIELD: electrical engineering; hoisting and conveying machines using off-line generators and storage batteries. SUBSTANCE: automobile hoist reversible drive has DC motor coupled via mode-of-operation switch to rectifier of synchronous generator provided with generator-regulator for on-board storage battery voltage. Novelty is connection of isolating diode between positive terminals of storage battery and generator feeding motor with regulated current at voltage several times higher than storage battery rated voltage; in addition, use is made of unique circuit arrangement for motor reversing incorporating current-regulating resistor and contacts of electromagnetic relay in field circuit affording permanent speed of hoist cable unreeling. EFFECT: simplified design and control of motor and improved power output and efficiency of motor-generator set; enlarged functional capabilities. 2 cl, 3 dwg, 1 tbl
