Abstract

FIELD: medicine, rheumatology. SUBSTANCE: erythrocytes were preserved preliminary with 0.5% formalin solution, treated with bifunctional reagent, sensibilized with a mixture of hemolytic serum and human aggregated gamma-globulin and washed off with phosphate-saline buffer twice. Diagnosticum is used for rheumatic factor assay by passive hemagglutination reaction. EFFECT: enhanced sensitivity, simplified procedure.

Claims (1)

A diagnosticum is proposed for determining the rheumatoid factor by the reaction of passive hemagglutination. In order to increase the shelf life of the finished diagnosticum, increase its sensitivity and simplify subsequent use, red blood cells are pre-preserved with a 0.5% formalin solution, treated with a bifunctional reagent, sensitized with a mixture of hemolytic serum and human gamma globulin and washed twice with phosphate-buffered saline.
