Abstract

FIELD: fertilizers. SUBSTANCE: method involves addition of nitrogen-fixing, phosphate-mobilizing, lactic acid bacteria and microorganisms that are fungicides and insecticides to sapropel. Microorganisms can be added as suspension or as ready preparation. Treatment result: microbe number is increased by 10-100-fold as compared with control. EFFECT: enhanced fertilizing property of the treated sapropel.

Claims (1)

A method for processing sapropel with the aim of increasing its effectiveness as a fertilizer is proposed, which includes introducing nitrogen-fixing, phosphate-mobilizing, lactic acid bacteria and microorganisms into the sapropel, which are fungicides and insecticides. Microorganisms can be introduced both in the form of a suspension, and in the form of a finished preparation. As a result of processing sapropel, the microbial number increases by 1–2 orders of magnitude compared with the control, which indicates higher fertilizing properties of the treated sapropel.
